![]() You can buy costumes, Astel skins, resurrection scrolls and appearance change tickets in the cash shop. No one knows when developer will create male versions of the mage, scholar and ranger. Free2Play games often come with a much worse community If you're someone like me who spends over $30 a day just on living expenses/bills the cost of Astellia to see if it's for you doesn't seem so high. I'm able to play mostly solo but not feel like I'm playing a dead or single player game. I'm glad they didn't make the mistake of starting with too many servers and having them all appear dead. Steam may show Astellia as only having 1000 people logged in but there's only 1 US server and I see other players in every quest hub still. ![]() I can only think of Chinese MMOs have that problem with mobile game-esque UI's. ![]() I set the hotbars to 80%, and map to 70%. Korean MMOs are weird about this and reading all the people complain about it reminds me of when Tera kept releasing every new class as Elin race only lol - I'm sure eventually they'll get around to being completely gender unlocked since they claimed to be willing to I'm confident that wont happen through 2020, and if it happens in 2021 onward I already got my $30 worthĢ) Still gender locked but I only play female characters anyway. I 100% believe It wont be unless they go free and then enough people are leeching and not buying costumes/mounts. SOE didn't have to kill Free Realms like they did to so many online games :( Wizard101 was a guilty pleasure of mine too, but couldn't shake the feeling I was too old for it so would only play a few times each summer to feel like a kid againġ) 4 months into Astellia it still isn't P2W. Spent a few $100 on it and was the social-type game I've played. I just woke up and it's 4am so this isn't going to formatted well: ![]() I need another in my life, I've been searching for one for the past 3 years.Įdit: Added question: How cluttered is the screen? A huge turnoff for me in mmorpgs is the sheer amount of icons on the screen. Literally the only mmorpgs I've been able to get SUPER into in my life are Wizard101(which I still pay for) and Free Realms which died years ago. I need yall to tell me a bit about the game if you can. I really want something I can get into, I was unable to get into WoW and I tried FFXIV, that didn't go well either, along with so many others(this includes titles like BDO and Tera). Are the classes gender-locked, if yes, will they be unlocked?.I've pretty much given up on looking but somehow this game crept back into my life at 11:30 at night. I'm just looking for a good mmorpg to play. I heard everywhere that they'd be unlocked soon so I'm just curious if there's in ETA for it or if it's done / wont be done. I want to know if this is still the case. I noted that, although 2 have since been unlocked, most of the classes(?) are gender-locked. But that wasn't the only reason I waited. However, it also offers better rewards, including Zender which is used to purchase rare items.I was going to play this game back on its initial release but was warned not to by a friend because she was worried it would be pay to win. This particular area is both a PvE and PvP environment with a higher challenge. Once a character reaches level 45, they can participate in the Avalon battleground. For instance, Servant Astels cost the lowest AP but have weaker abilities than either the Guardian or Savior Astels. The types of Astels have different AP costs, abilities, and skill sets. Furthermore, there are 3 different categories of Astels: Guardians, Servants, and Saviors. On the other hand, there are 7 Astel classes which mirror the character classes, as well as 2 additional ones: Knight and Muse. There are 5 character classes in Astellia: Archer, Assassin, Mage, Scholar, and Warrior. Acquiring new Astels can be done through loot from dungoens or by purchasing from the game's General Merchant. Using their abilities also cost Astel Points. Astels can be summoned to provide combat benefits such as buffs, combination attacks, tanking, healing, and other effects.Īstels in the game are organized using Decks. Astellia is a fantasy MMORPG where player characters take part in a celestial battle among divine forces.
