![]() That guy's a little not-right in the head. Then again his inhibitor chip was likely not in great shape to begin with, all things considered. I mean we've seen at least one Commando go rogue, namely Gregor. So really it'd be down to individual choices. Same Clone stock, no genetic deviations that might interfere with the inhibitor chip. They're- strictly speaking, "Regs" in the traditional sense. As for the commando’s being obedient to the Empire, I saw a comment on a post similar to this that makes sense: ![]() Well, about Republic Commando, that game isn’t canon, so we don’t know everything that happened to Delta Squad except Gregor getting lost. I've loved the new season but every time they bring one of my favorite clones onto the screen, and he doesn't punch that scientist in the face, I get so mad! I wanted to know if anyone else shared these thoughts. I'm just genuinely very much hoping that Scorch is part of a separate Clone Rebellion effort, and his actions now are somewhat justified by the desire to get in as close to the Empire as he can, to cause as much damage as he can. I hope they can explain at some point how they managed to convince the least obedient group of soldiers to betray their entire. Scorch was the fun-loving maverick of the team who hated the Empire for (spoilers for the 17-year-old game)>! making Delta Squad leave a member on Kaashyyk.!< Am I supposed to believe that this event broke him to the point that he became blind to the plight of his brothers? Commandos, in general, were supposed to be the most independent and smartest of the troopers. It doesn't even make sense for the character. So I have to wonder: why in the world did Dave Filoni think that that fanbase would want to see their favorite Delta Squad member ( maybe I'm projecting there- but I don't think so) be made into an almost direct antagonist to our heroes in TBB? I remember how excited most viewers were when they showed up for a brief cameo in TCW and for Scorch's first appearance in TBB, but none more so than the dedicated Republic Commando fanbase. I had always found it interesting that the clone commandos were so under-utilized in The Clone Wars. doesn't paint the character in a good light. Being a guard for the empire is one thing, but he has since been a part of at least one mission that. It was revealed in season one that Scorch (and only Scorch? from Delta Squad) is one of the Commandos that is working as part of the Empire's plans. I will not discuss anything the character has done in specifics in this post. ||| Join our Discord! ||| Question? From the trailers, we see them working with everyone from Governor Tarkin, Captain Rex, and even Fennec Shand ( Ming-Na Wen, reprising her role from The Mandalorian). Star Wars: The Bad Batch follows this elite team as they grapple with the galaxy following the aftermath of the Clone Wars. No small feat given how varied the squadron is. Dee Bradley Baker will return to voice all the clones, including the Bad Batch. Let’s just say that when they enter a battle, Clone Force 99 stands out. As a result, each member has a unique skill and personality. The Bad Batch do not look the part, nor do they behave anything like their cloned brothers, because the squad was experimented on to give them desirable mutations. As seen in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the clone troopers are genetic replicas of their donor, Jango Fett ( Temuera Morrison), engineered for battle and compliance.
